HOME SCHOOL SHARE

lapbooks homeschoolshare1A great page totally recomendable: Homeschool Share (HSS) is a on-line cooperative effort of several homeschooling moms to provide free but quality literature-based unit studies and resources. Here, you can  find lots and lots of useful resources, ideas and lesson plans for different ages and levels.

Are you looking for resources in order to exploit some books or stories with your children? If so, this is the right  page. Have a look  and don’t miss it.

Personally, I love “lapbooks” ideas and how they  work. They are mainly based in different story books.

Here I leave the different sections of this wonderful page in order you can  go there directly.

LEVEL ONE For ages 2-4 it’s  a perfect introduction to literature-based unit studies .

level1

LEVEL TWO  For ages 4-6 These units have more structure to the lessons.

level2

LEVEL THREE For ages 6-8 the books are more complex than Level 2 and usually have more text.

level3

LEVEL FOUR For ages 7-9 the books tackle more complex lessons on topics such as geology, astronomy, etc.

level4

LEVEL FIVE For ages 7-12 The lessons involve more writing as well as require the student to research various topics.

level5

LEVEL SIX They are designed to challenge the student to analyze, research, and think critically, while helping the student toward greater independence in their academics.

level6

ANIMAL STUDIES These units can be used with a variety of ages. They are not based on living books, so it is recommended if your student ares interested in.

level animal studies

MULTI BOOK THEME These units revolve around one theme and are dependent on a variety of books to enhance learning.  They allow a more in-depth study of one particular topic.

level multibook

CONNECTIONS Each theme contains multiple Homeschool Share units: animals, arts, maths, geography…plus a library list of suggested go-alongs.

level connections

MULTI-AGE These units and lapbooks can be used with more than one age group (especially great if you are teaching multiple ages at once)!
