One common exercise not only in exams, but also in class are reading comprehension exercises. A very important skill to be promoted in our students. It is a fact that, sometimes,  reading comprehension  is a hard process in the adquisition of a second language for our learners but it is essential for them.

We can say that the first step consits on recognizing letters and words. But we all know that is very important for our students to comprehend, or understand, what they are reading. What is the  meaning of the text: What does the author want to tell the reader? This is reading comprehension, and it is an essential skill for success in school and in the real world.

In  “K12readerspage you can use their free, printable reading comprehension passage exercises to improve your student’s reading skills.

The  worksheets are grouped by grade, that include passages and related questions. Click on the title to view the printable activities in each grade range, or to read the details of each worksheet. They are free for use at home or in the classroom.
