Interactive Reading Games: Word Level

It is a very useful page, specially for young learners and starters . You will find ingular and plurals , rhyming . Specially useful for working and teaching phonemes: long vowels, consonant blends, tricky words

The interactive reading games below are ideal for developing the reading skills of your pupils. And, of course, you can use the reading games on your interactive whiteboard, or computer, at school or at home.

The games below are listed by word level and sentence level activities. To find a game quickly you can ?use the ‘quick game finder’.

There are two kind of ?reading games: Word level games and sentence level games

Consonant Blends (CVCC Words)

Little Mo (Roy’s cousin) is learning about blending and segmenting consonants to make CVCC words. It’s all happening in her secret garden where blending or segmenting phonemes to make words means she earns Zs (the local currency) to spend in Garden World.
